Leider musste ich jetzt feststellen, dass die im Kaufpreis inbegriffene Version von PhotoScore nur die „lite“ Version ist. Da das Abtippen der Noten immer viel Zeit beansprucht, hatte ich den verwegenen Plan auf Sibelius Ultimate upzugraden, weil dort PhotoScore integriert ist, so dass man Noten einfach einscannen und sich diesen zeitraubenden Arbeitsprozess schenken kann. Das heißt, eigentlich brauche ich Sibelius primär um Midi-Files zu erstellen, die ich dann mit Logic als Gesangsspuren aufbereite. Seit Jahren nutze ich Sibelius First, um Übungsplaybacks für meinen Chor zu erstellen.
